Vedant International School, known for its commitment to innovation and excellence, recently hosted its first-ever TechFest in collaboration with Robobox, a pioneer in the field of educational robotics. The event was a remarkable success, highlighting the creativity, technical skills, and teamwork of our students.
The TechFest was organized and executed by our students, with the founder and CEO of Robobox serving as the esteemed judge. The main challenge of the day was for students to design and code an AI-operated vehicle—a Robocar AI-bot—that could move sponge boxes from a designated starting point to an endpoint on a pre-drawn map. The AI-bots were connected via Wi-Fi and controlled using mobile phones, showcasing the students’ ability to integrate technology with practical problem-solving.
Students displayed impressive ingenuity, designing their AI-bots from scratch and coding them to perform the complex task of transporting the sponge boxes with precision. The event featured a competitive element, where teams of three worked together to navigate their AI-bots across the map, ensuring the boxes reached their destinations efficiently. The level of innovation and dedication shown by the students was truly commendable, reflecting their deep understanding of robotics and AI.
This TechFest was a landmark event for Vedant International School, marking the beginning of what we hope will be many more explorations into the world of technology and robotics. The enthusiasm and participation were overwhelming, proving that even at an introductory level, our students are eager to embrace new challenges and expand their horizons.
