Ganesh Chaturthi at Vedant International School

Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at Vedant International School, beginning with the installation (Ganpati Stapna) of Lord Ganesha’s idol. Each day, the school organized pooja sessions where students and staff gathered to offer prayers and learn about Lord Ganesha’s life, from his birth to the many tales that highlight his wisdom and charm. The students were also taught the significance of the different names of Lord Ganesha, such as Vighnaharta, Siddhivinayak, and more, deepening their understanding of the festival’s spiritual aspects.

One of the key highlights of the celebration was the series of creative workshops. Students enjoyed hands-on activities like Ladoo and Modak making, the traditional sweets associated with Ganesh Chaturthi. A special Ganpati-making workshop allowed students to craft eco-friendly idols, promoting environmental awareness alongside cultural learning. The festivities culminated with Ganpati Visarjan, where the students bid a heartfelt farewell to Lord Ganesha, with the promise of welcoming him again next year.
